Hi, I’m Mohamed Usman, a Chemistry Educator, and for me, teaching is about connection, curiosity, and helping young people believe in themselves. I come to the classroom each day with genuine enthusiasm, working to create a space where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and grow with confidence. I truly believe that every child has unique strengths, and it’s my joy to help them discover and develop those abilities.
In my classroom, learning goes beyond textbooks. Whether we’re exploring scientific ideas, working through chemistry practicals, or discussing big questions, I encourage students to think deeply, stay curious, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Watching students gain confidence and begin to see themselves as capable, responsible individuals is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Outside of school, my greatest inspiration is my family—especially my two daughters, who remind me daily why patience and empathy matter. I also enjoy experimenting with Indian cuisine and unwinding with Indian music. Above all, I want families to know that I care deeply about their child’s learning and well-being, and I am committed to supporting each student’s growth and confidence every step of the way.
