Hello everyone, I’m Sanjana and I am delighted to be part of this vibrant school community!
I teach English Language B and Language and Literature in MYP Years 2 and 5, as well as DP Years 1 and 2. It’s truly rewarding to work with students at these different stages of their IB journey, watching them grow from curious explorers of language into confident, thoughtful communicators.
As an educator, what matters most to me is helping students develop a strong growth mindset. I enjoy guiding them to see challenges as opportunities for learning, to value effort and constructive feedback, and to build real confidence through persistence and reflection. In my classes, I aim to create a supportive, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable taking risks with language, thinking critically about texts and ideas, and growing both as learners and as individuals. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing that moment when a student realises they can improve and express themselves more powerfully with practice.
Outside class, I’m passionate about scuba diving (the ocean’s quiet magic is unbeatable!), planning travels to exciting places with my husband, and trying out new recipes (or perfecting old ones) in the kitchen!
