Hello, good people, my name is Wawan. I am a Bahasa Indonesia teacher for students in Year 7 to Year 12, teaching MYP Language Acquisition and DP Language Ab Initio. I am passionate not only about language learning, but also about helping students grow into respectful, confident, and responsible individuals.
As an educator, I believe attitude and behaviour are more important than simply being smart. Good behaviour and a positive mindset are what shape truly intelligent people. In my classroom, students are encouraged to communicate bravely, learn from mistakes, and treat others with respect. Creating a safe and supportive learning environment is always my priority.
I enjoy working at Amman Academy because the community show genuine respect for one another, which makes teaching both meaningful and enjoyable.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy gardening—planting vegetables and fruit trees, and exploring new ideas related to farming. Spending time in nature helps me stay patient, grounded, and curious, qualities I bring into my teaching every day.
