I’m Nikki Farrar, and I’m delighted to be part of our school community as an IB PYP teacher. My journey in education began in New Zealand, and since then I’ve had the privilege of sharing in the learning journeys of families in Malaysia and Vietnam before finding my way here to Indonesia. To me, teaching is about far more than lessons; I care deeply about the holistic development of every child. My aim is to create a learning environment where students feel confident, supported, and empowered to discover their unique strengths. I strongly believe that we are all lifelong learners. Through various leadership roles, including serving as an IB PYP Coordinator, I’ve developed a passion for supporting and coaching fellow educators. I value the opportunity to grow alongside colleagues as we continually strive to do our best for our students.
What excites me most about being here is fostering a genuine sense of community. I appreciate the strong partnership between school and home, as these relationships play an essential role in ensuring every child feels supported and inspired. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy travelling and spending time in nature, especially exploring the incredible wildlife and natural beauty of this region.
