Hello! I am Maria Suswanti Rahayu, and people call me Rea. I am an Early Years teacher and EY Coordinator with a deep passion for nurturing young minds and guiding children to understand the world around them through exploration, investigation, and meaningful, joyful learning experiences. I believe in creating a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel safe to explore, play, and discover at their own pace. I have been teaching at Amman Academy since 2025, a wonderful school dedicated to providing quality education for all learners. Surrounded by the rich natural beauty of Sumbawa and supported by a supportive community, the school radiates a positive energy that makes it an inspiring place to work and grow.
As an early childhood educator, I am deeply concerned with supporting the holistic development of every child socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. I believe that the early years are a crucial foundation for lifelong learning, and it is our responsibility as educators to foster curiosity, resilience, empathy, and a love for learning from the very beginning. I am an avid nature lover and sports enthusiast, and I find great joy and energy in spending time outdoors. Being surrounded by Sumbawa’s lush jungles, trees, and stunning beaches is truly a gift that keeps me connected to nature and inspires my teaching.
Overall, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young children and helping them build a strong foundation for their future. I am thrilled to be part of the Amman Academy family, where I can continue to inspire, empower, and learn alongside the next generation. In my philosophy of education, I believe that education empowers us to shape and transform the world around us, beginning with the youngest learners who hold the promise of tomorrow.
